Experienced Veterinary Nurse

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, hands-on nursing care for small animals in a busy clinic environment
• Support and mentor junior team members to foster a collaborative team culture
• Deliver exceptional patient and client care through effective communication
• Maintain a calm, organized, and proactive approach during busy clinic periods
• Contribute to continuous improvement and new ideas within the practice

Requirements

• Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing
• 2+ years of professional veterinary nursing experience
• Ability to perform nursing duties independently without direct supervision
• Strong communication skills and the ability to connect with clients and teammates
• A proactive, team-oriented attitude with a passion for animal welfare

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in a leadership or mentoring capacity
• Interest in pursuing a Head Veterinary Nurse career pathway
