Experienced Test & Evaluation Lab Tech (Metrology & Calibration)

Responsibilities

• Calibrate, adjust, certify, maintain, and repair Measurement Test & Equipment (M&TE) and process equipment using approved procedures and standards
• Plan, set up, and operate M&TE while conducting routine tests and analyzing data
• Troubleshoot and recommend resolutions for basic laboratory and test-related problems
• Update equipment status in established systems and complete all required documentation
• Perform visual inspections of equipment for wear or discrepancies and route non-conforming items
• Manage logistics for routing calibrated assets to remote labs and suppliers
• Assist with Test Asset Management tasks including asset tagging, redeployment, and storage

Requirements

• US Citizenship and the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance (Interim Secret Pre-Start and final Secret Post-Start required)
• 2+ years of experience calibrating Measurement and Test Equipment (M&TE)
• 2+ years of experience in test assets or metrology
• 2+ years of experience using electronic test equipment

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or higher, or related military training in electronics or Metrology
• Metrology experience involving electrical, physical, or mechanical parameters
• 5+ years of experience working in a calibration laboratory
• An active U.S. Secret or higher Security Clearance
