Experienced Test & Evaluation Engineer (Metrology)

Responsibilities

• Plan, set up, and operate Measurement and Test Equipment (M&TE) and process equipment
• Conduct routine tests, analyze data, and document results to ensure accuracy
• Troubleshoot and recommend resolutions for laboratory and test-related problems
• Update equipment status using established systems and maintain associated paperwork
• Ensure all equipment is prepared for calibration according to metrology processes
• Identify, document, and route non-conforming items in accordance with lab processes
• Assist in the development of new calibration processes and procedures
• Perform logistics for routing calibrated assets to remote labs and suppliers
• Manage test assets including tagging, redeployment, storage, and surplus tasks

Requirements

• Ability to obtain a US Security Clearance (US Citizenship required)
• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in metrology, calibration/certification, or instrumentation
• 3+ years of experience using electronic measurement and test equipment

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience developing and executing calibration procedures
• 3+ years of experience performing statistical analysis or project management
• Experience with electrical, microwave, or RF calibrations (DC, Low Frequency & RF)
• Familiarity with torque, pressure, force, mass, temperature, or humidity parameters
• Experience with automated calibration recall systems and Microsoft Office applications
