Experienced Systems Engineer - Product Owner

Responsibilities

• Apply an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to plan, design, develop, and verify lifecycle balanced system solutions.
• Evaluate customer and operational needs to define system performance requirements and ensure compatibility of all physical and functional interfaces.
• Perform various analyses to optimize system architecture, including safety, reliability, maintainability, and system security.
• Develop and monitor requirements management processes, including risk, issues, and opportunity management.
• Serve as a Product Owner within the GVHMS portfolio, managing project schedules, budgets, and technical integration.
• Resolve cross-functional technical issues by interacting with software, hardware, and test teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree.
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship required).
• 3+ years of experience in systems engineering (requirements definition, allocation, verification, architecture, and trade design).
• 3+ years of experience working systems engineering across multiple phases of the product life-cycle.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Data Science, or Computer Science.
• Existing Secret Security clearance.
• 3+ years of experience building stakeholder and customer relationships.
• 3+ years of experience with Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE).
• Experience with Agile development and EVM/CAM certification.
• Experience with military aircraft and proprietary programs.
