Experienced Systems Engineer - Product Owner

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain product roadmaps and system lifecycle plans
• Develop, document, and verify system requirements
• Develop project schedules, track performance, and manage project budgets
• Organize and prioritize work items for the software development team
• Lead the integration of GVHMS system components to meet customer requirements
• Coordinate regularly with internal and external stakeholders and customers
• Document team plans, status, meeting agendas, and presentations
• Analyze process compliance and implement continuous improvements

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship required)
• 5+ years of experience in systems engineering (requirements, architecture, and verification)
• 3+ years of experience building stakeholder and customer relationships
• 3+ years of experience leading or managing projects and/or teams

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field
• Experience with Agile Development methodologies
• Experience with Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)
• Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM)
• Strong ability to lead by influence and excellent communication skills
