Experienced Modeler

Responsibilities

• Create and build computer generated 3D models for assigned story elements and designs
• Prepare and build models for characters and stand-ins for layout
• Develop prop elements for effects and create environmental sets and structures
• Write, maintain, and run Makefiles, scripts, and model databases
• Meet productivity targets, schedules, and show deadlines
• Participate in dailies, rounds, and team reviews of work in progress
• Collaborate with production, supervisors, and peers to solve problems and share information

Requirements

• 3+ years of production experience or feature film experience preferred
• Proficiency in Maya, Mudbox, or ZBrush
• Experience with 3D Coat, Topogun, or Paraform
• Ability to work in a Linux environment
• Scripting ability in MEL, Perl, or Python is a plus
• Must provide a demo reel illustrating relevant artistic and technical experience
