About the role
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain commercial yards based on client requirements
- Prepare soil and ground conditions for plant health
- Safely operate and maintain mowers, trimmers, and other landscaping equipment
- Perform plant care including trimming, pruning, and fertilizing
- Communicate with clients and managers to ensure projects stay on track and budget
- Identify and treat weeds, plant diseases, and pests
- Adhere to all safety protocols for the crew and environment
- Assist in training and mentoring newer crew members
Requirements
- Proven experience in professional landscaping
- Knowledge of plants, soil, and fertilizers
- Proficiency with mowers, trimmers, tillers, and yard gear
- Physical stamina to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
Preferred Qualifications
- Official training or certifications in landscaping or horticulture
