Experienced Field Service Representative

Responsibilities

• Provide technical research, guidance, and troubleshooting for the F/A-18 Automated Maintenance Environment (FAME) program
• Deliver over-the-shoulder assistance and classroom training to squadron personnel, including maintainers and pilots
• Perform functional checks of the FAME system for Ashore and Afloat F/A-18 squadrons
• Support the operation of the Navy Aeronautical Technical Publications Library (ATPL) and Portable Electronic Maintenance Aide (PEMAs)
• Act as the primary onsite FAME expert to resolve customer support issues and improve mission capable rates
• Manage technical support tasks including site surveys, system installation, and software configuration management
• Coordinate with IT personnel to ensure FAME applications are properly configured for server/client operations
• Collect and provide data deliverables to meet program management and contract requirements

Requirements

• Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship required)
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally, potentially on short notice
• Willingness to relocate based on customer and management needs
• Ability to pass military contractor health standards for potential deployment to DOD contingency operations

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with F/A-18 avionics
• Direct experience with the F/A-18 Automated Maintenance Environment (FAME) system
