Experienced Contracts & Pricing Specialist

Responsibilities

• Provide contracting expertise and negotiate the sale of complex aerospace and defense platforms and follow-on support business.
• Draft terms and conditions, prepare cost and pricing analysis, and identify risks/mitigation for RFI and RFP responses.
• Represent the company to Government of India defense institutions and maintain effective working relationships with customer counterparts.
• Support proposal development, negotiation, and administration of complex contracts during acquisition and execution phases.
• Partner with Boeing US program and contracting counterparts to support large aerospace defense contracts.
• Prepare business cases and provide financial decision support to management for all contracts.
• Analyze risks, issues, and opportunities of various contract terms and present findings to management.
• Develop, prepare, and validate estimates and prices through evaluation of requests for proposal.
• Provide contract support to negotiate and administer countertrade offset programs in India.
• Monitor allocated budgets, monthly performance, and conduct variance analysis.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree is required.
• 8-12 years of related work experience in contracts or pricing.
• Excellent command of the English language, both spoken and written, for communicating with US counterparts and local customers.
• Deep understanding of the intricacies of contract terms and conditions and the ability to convey local implications to global stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA combined with an Engineering degree.
• Experience working with multi-national companies within the aerospace and defense sectors.
• Knowledge of Defense Acquisition Procedure (DAP) and Defense Procurement Manual (DPM) of the Ministry of Defense, Government of India.
