Experienced Consultant - Tax Financial Services

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of tax advisory and compliance services for financial services clients, including banks, insurers, and fintechs
• Assist in the preparation and review of tax returns, reporting obligations, and tax documentation
• Perform technical tax research regarding corporate income tax, VAT, withholding taxes, and transfer pricing
• Participate in multidisciplinary projects involving regulatory changes, cross-border transactions, and tax risk management
• Contribute to client deliverables such as memos, reports, and impact assessments
• Support senior team members in engagement management and client communication
• Stay updated on tax legislation and industry trends affecting the financial sector

Requirements

• Degree in Law, Economics, Management, Finance, Accounting, or a related field
• 1–3 years of professional experience in Tax
• Solid understanding of corporate income tax and/or indirect tax concepts
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
• Fluency in English and proficiency in Portuguese

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in a Big Four environment or within a financial institution
• Exposure to international tax matters or cross-border projects
