Experienced C-17 Modification Project Technical Specialist

Responsibilities

• Represent the organization as a coordinator on contracts and projects
• Interact with senior internal and external personnel regarding USAF and FMS coordination
• Provide direction and review for all maintenance activities to ensure objectives are met
• Develop solutions to complex problems by applying established precedents and policies
• Plan, schedule, and manage personal activities to accomplish assignment objectives
• Maintain qualification for Ground Operations Personnel (GOP) and air respirator medical physicals

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience working on C-17 aircraft
• 3+ years of experience in aircraft sustainment, repairs, and modification
• 3+ years of experience creating and managing project plans, schedules, and baselines
• Ability to travel internationally 50% of the time, often with short notice
• Ability to obtain a US Passport
• Ability to obtain a US Security Clearance (requires US Citizenship)

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in aviation-related fields, engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry
• Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License
• Experience with multi-system operations including pneumatic, hydraulic, structural, electrical, and propulsion systems
• Ability to read and interpret schematics and system flow charts
• Experience in Quality Management or Quality Assurance
