About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead and conduct user research to understand customer needs, pain points, and behaviors
- Develop detailed customer journey maps and personas to guide design initiatives
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and visual designs for web and mobile applications
- Collaborate with product teams to define design specifications and ensure alignment with business objectives
- Facilitate design reviews, user testing sessions, and focus groups to gather insights and feedback
- Iterate on designs based on findings from user feedback and usability testing
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in customer experience design
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field
- 5 to 10 years of experience in experience design, UX/UI design, or related roles
- CCXP certification is required
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch
- Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies
- Experience in designing responsive applications for web and mobile
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Proven experience conducting user research and usability testing
- Experience in creating customer journey maps and other experience design artifacts
- Familiarity with accessibility standards and best practices in design
- 5+ years of experience in leading design engagements or projects
