About the role

Responsibilities

  • Own and continuously improve end-to-end employee expense reimbursement and corporate card processes
  • Design scalable governance frameworks, review standards, and formal policy documentation
  • Lead corporate card program governance, transaction monitoring, and lifecycle management
  • Maintain expense types and accounting mappings within the ERP system
  • Strengthen the internal control environment related to employee spending
  • Partner cross-functionally with Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Tax, HR, and business stakeholders

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in expense operations, accounts payable, operational accounting, or spend governance
  • Strong understanding of internal controls and governance principles
  • Solid accounting knowledge including expense classification, accruals, and GL impact
  • Experience operating in fast-paced, high-growth environments
  • Strong analytical and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with ERP-based expense systems such as Oracle
  • ERP implementation or go-live experience
  • Experience administering corporate credit card programs
  • Experience establishing or redesigning expense policies
  • Background in audit, SOX compliance, or structured control environments
