Expense Accounting & Power BI Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage the firm’s internal time allocation methodology across funds, co-invest vehicles, and management entities.
• Build, maintain, and optimize complex Excel-based allocation models with clear logic and controls.
• Oversee the collection, validation, and reconciliation of time-reporting data.
• Analyze allocation trends, variances, and anomalies, performing scenario modeling and sensitivity analysis.
• Partner with Human Resources, Accounting, Compliance, and Legal teams to reconcile personnel costs and address audit requests.
• Identify and implement process efficiencies and automation to reduce manual intervention and operational risk.
• Prepare allocation summaries and supporting analysis for senior leadership.

Requirements

• 8–10 years of relevant experience within an asset management firm, investment bank, or financial services organization.
• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Accounting or Finance.
• Advanced expertise in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis, pivot tables, and complex formulas.
• Strong attention to detail, critical thinking, and analytical skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Power BI or developing reporting dashboards.
• Experience working with automated platforms or supporting system migrations from Excel-based tools.
