Expeditor

Responsibilities

• Organize orders to ensure timely packing and shipping
• Coordinate with Procurement and Production Control to manage delivery timing and rates
• Create Return Material Authorizations (RMAs) for non-compliant material
• Track orders from placement through delivery and maintain daily/weekly shipment reports
• Use AS400 to investigate orders and move ready-to-pack orders to the packer bucket
• Manage exceptions and report late material to appropriate departments
• Ensure goods are delivered according to the Production Schedule
• Maintain good housekeeping and wear all necessary PPE

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Basic mathematical and computer skills
• Experience in a manufacturing or delivery setting
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills for collaborating with various departments and vendors
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience communicating with cross-functional teams and external vendors
• Previous experience working with freight carriers
• Experience using AS400
