Expanded Learning Site Lead

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the expanded learning site, including supervising students and program staff
• Coordinate intersession services and assist in organizing, developing, and implementing program activities
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and safe environment to promote academic, physical, and social success
• Perform family outreach regarding student attendance, behavior, and program enrollment
• Maintain program documentation, including attendance, parent sign-out sheets, and staff schedules
• Conduct regular staff meetings and classroom observations to ensure program quality and grant fidelity
• Manage student behavior using positive reinforcement and communicate incidents to parents/guardians
• Monitor student health, administer basic first aid, and perform other safety functions as necessary

Requirements

• Minimum of two years of experience working in a school or expanded learning environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Strong leadership and communication skills (both oral and written)
• Valid CA driver's license and reliable transportation
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team and with diverse populations
• Ability to successfully pass a background check including fingerprints

Preferred Qualifications

• Fluency in Spanish
• CPR and First Aid certification
