About the role

Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute end-to-end exhibition operations, including setup, teardown, and onsite venue management.
  • Source, negotiate with, and manage various vendors such as construction, logistics, AV, security, and cleaning services.
  • Manage event budgets, monitor expenses, and perform post-event cost analysis to ensure efficiency.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients to ensure high satisfaction and long-term relationships.
  • Ensure all operations comply with health, safety, and sustainability standards, including preparing risk assessments.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth service delivery and high-quality event experiences.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 5+ years of experience in operations management, event planning, or a similar role, ideally within exhibitions or trade shows.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple events simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in budget management and financial analysis.
  • Proven vendor negotiation and management skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and event management software.
  • Knowledge of health, safety, and legal requirements relevant to exhibitions.
