About the role
Responsibilities
- Plan and execute end-to-end exhibition operations, including setup, teardown, and onsite venue management.
- Source, negotiate with, and manage various vendors such as construction, logistics, AV, security, and cleaning services.
- Manage event budgets, monitor expenses, and perform post-event cost analysis to ensure efficiency.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients to ensure high satisfaction and long-term relationships.
- Ensure all operations comply with health, safety, and sustainability standards, including preparing risk assessments.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth service delivery and high-quality event experiences.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 5+ years of experience in operations management, event planning, or a similar role, ideally within exhibitions or trade shows.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple events simultaneously.
- Proficiency in budget management and financial analysis.
- Proven vendor negotiation and management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and event management software.
- Knowledge of health, safety, and legal requirements relevant to exhibitions.
