Exhibition Director

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute long-term strategic plans to drive the growth and market leadership of large-scale B2B exhibitions.
• Take full accountability for commercial and operational performance, including exhibition sales, sponsorship, and visitor marketing.
• Manage annual budgets and quarterly forecasts, ensuring all revenue and operating profit targets are met.
• Act as a key ambassador, building strong relationships with government stakeholders, industry leaders, and clients.
• Lead and mentor high-performing teams, fostering a collaborative and motivated work culture.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and partners to align event strategy with broader organizational objectives.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience leading large-scale B2B exhibitions with a proven track record of commercial success.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Extensive experience in P&L management, financial reporting, and budgeting.
• Proven ability to manage both commercial and operational responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with experience engaging senior executives and government officials.
• Strong stakeholder management and networking capabilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Arabic language proficiency (spoken and written).
• Previous experience working within the Middle East.
• Industry experience in safety, security, fire protection, emergency management, or chemical resilience sectors.
