About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of exercise planners to develop and execute national and international level military exercises from conceptualization to CONOP briefs
- Assist Program Management with the communication and coordination of all exercises for NGB, Joint Staff, and various JIIM partners
- Develop after-action reports, improvement plans, and corrective action plans following drills, full-scale exercises, and real-world events
- Draft realistic threat scenarios and develop training objectives in conjunction with stakeholders
- Conduct trend analyses from exercise data to capture innovative practices and lessons learned
- Manage exercise information through JTIMS and other management systems
- Coordinate and manage exercise development alongside relevant planners and participants
Requirements
- Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
- 12+ years of relevant experience, or 5+ years of experience with a Bachelor's degree in a related field
- Familiarity with Joint and Multinational exercise design at the operational level
- Proficiency in JTIMS and ARTIMS
- Working knowledge of Multi-Domain Operations
- Demonstrated ability to apply the Joint Exercise Life Cycle (JELC), MDMP, ADM, and JPP
- Valid U.S. Passport
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Significant experience planning and executing a Component or Joint Exercise Program
- Experience with exercise planning at the brigade level or above
- Graduate of a Command and General Staff College
- Previous experience supporting a Department of War or US Army customer
