Responsibilities
- Partner with the Managing Director to drive business growth of the practice and the firm
- Bring in substantial new business and manage client development
- Ensure the team is organized, aligned, and motivated to achieve revenue and profitability goals
- Provide high-level client service and excellence in communications strategy
- Drive integrated communications approaches across owned, earned, and paid media
- Manage team culture with a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion
- Evaluate industry trends and measure ROI for advocacy projects
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in campaign politics, strategic communications, media relations, digital strategy, or advocacy
- Proven track record of business development and sales
- Extensive experience managing teams of communications strategists
- Deep understanding of agency business models and client management
- Up-to-date technical knowledge of digital marketing and communications services
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
- Personal commitment to social justice and advancing social change
