About the role

Responsibilities

  • Promote and sell Medtronic's Neurovascular products and services within the assigned Detroit territory to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Develop and strengthen long-term relationships with key stakeholders, including key opinion leaders, medical associations, and academic centers of excellence.
  • Formulate and implement territory strategies to grow and defend market share against competitive pressures.
  • Identify customer needs and provide product services to maximize the benefits of neurovascular technologies.
  • Collaborate with internal teams such as finance, marketing, and sales operations to address market trends and support business goals.
  • Conduct market research and business analytics to monitor competitor activities and regional performance.
  • Participate in product training and attend regional or national meetings as required.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma with 10+ years of relevant sales or clinical experience in medtech, healthcare, or life sciences; OR
  • Associate’s Degree with 8+ years of relevant experience; OR
  • Bachelor’s Degree with 6+ years of relevant experience.
  • Valid driver's license and active vehicle insurance.
  • Ability to drive approximately 50% of the time within the assigned territory, including potential overnight travel.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proven track record of top sales achievement and multilevel account management.
  • Clinical experience in an interventional suite, hospital environment, or cath lab setting.
  • Specific experience in medical device sales focused on interventional stroke procedures.
