Executive - SHE

Responsibilities

• Drive a zero incident/accident culture by ensuring adherence to safety guidelines, SOPs, permits, and risk assessments
• Ensure compliance with statutory and company SHE policies during shift operations
• Conduct SHE audits, inspections, and compliance checks across the plant
• Deliver SHE training programs to employees during shifts
• Ensure proper usage and maintenance of PPE and safety equipment such as hydrants, sprinklers, and safety showers
• Monitor compliance with environmental norms including effluent and waste management
• Oversee occupational health compliance and execute SHE awareness campaigns
• Participate in Root Cause Analysis (RCA), PSSR, JSA, and risk assessments
• Track and report SHE KPIs and performance metrics
• Collaborate with internal departments and external statutory authorities

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering
• Advanced Diploma in Industrial Safety (ADIS) is mandatory
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Safety, Health & Environment (SHE)
• Strong knowledge of SHE standards, statutory compliance, and manufacturing processes
• Good communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in hazardous chemical, paints, pharma, or oil & gas industries
