Executive Protection Driver

Responsibilities

• Provide secure, discreet and professional transportation for the principal and approved executives
• Support route planning, reconnaissance, movement planning and contingency planning
• Maintain assigned vehicle readiness, cleanliness, equipment status, and emergency supplies
• Support arrivals, departures, airport movements, site visits, and meetings
• Provide ground-level advance support, observation and communication during movements
• Maintain a low-profile protective posture to support principal productivity and privacy
• Monitor traffic, route conditions, and potential security issues
• Respond to security incidents, medical emergencies, or travel disruptions
• Participate in recurring training, firearms qualification, and protective driving refreshers

Requirements

• 2+ years of executive protection or close protection experience
• Completion of industry-recognized executive protection or close protection course
• Completion of accredited protective or defensive driving training
• Experience with route planning, airport movements, and vehicle readiness
• Ability to obtain and maintain Massachusetts firearms credentials and licensing
• Valid US driver’s license and clean driving record
• Certification in CPR, AED, and first aid (or ability to obtain)
• Strong situational awareness and sound judgment under pressure
• Ability to support occasional evenings, weekends, and travel
