About the role

Responsibilities

  • Provide discreet close protection to the principal during daily activity, office movements, meetings, events, and domestic or international travel
  • Conduct advance work for locations, meetings, hotels, airports, routes, and venues
  • Support the development and execution of protective plans, movement plans, and contingency procedures
  • Maintain a low-profile protective posture that supports the principal’s productivity and privacy
  • Coordinate with executive assistants, client security, law enforcement, and transportation providers
  • Monitor the operating environment to identify potential risks or vulnerabilities
  • Work with the Protective Intelligence Analyst to ensure threat information informs planning
  • Maintain readiness to respond to security incidents, medical emergencies, or travel disruptions
  • Participate in recurring training, firearms qualification, and medical refreshers

Requirements

  • 5+ years of executive protection or close protection experience supporting senior executives
  • Successful completion of an industry-recognized executive protection course
  • Prior military or law enforcement experience is valued
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct advance work, route planning, and site surveys
  • Must possess or be able to obtain Massachusetts licensing and firearms credentials
  • LEOSA-compatible credentials or ability to meet nationwide carry requirements
  • Certification in CPR, AED, and first aid
  • Valid US driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Valid US passport and ability to travel domestically and internationally
  • Ability to support occasional evenings, weekends, and schedule changes
