Executive – Procurement

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely procurement of aggregates, components, and services in alignment with production schedules.
• Manage inventory levels to meet targets and prevent production delays.
• Develop and maintain a consolidated supplier database and foster long-term, mutually beneficial partnerships.
• Conduct annual vendor evaluations and provide appropriate feedback to the team.
• Manage logistics operations, including inviting quotes from freight forwarders and coordinating with CHA.
• Oversee EXIM formalities for imports and exports and ensure accuracy in labeling and marking.
• Drive continuous improvement in procurement processes and identify cost optimization opportunities.
• Adhere to implemented systems, procedures, and Quality Management Systems (QMS).

Requirements

• Bcom, Diploma, B.E., or B.Tech degree.
• 6-7 years of experience in purchase and material management within the manufacturing industry.
• Proficiency in ERP software and the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in heavy engineering or crane manufacturing.
• Experience working within a large-scale centralized purchasing function.
• Understanding of accounting practices as applied to procurement procedures.
