About the role
Responsibilities
- Serve as a strategic partner to the Executive Director, managing calendar, communications, and organizational priorities
- Strengthen organizational and document management systems to improve collaboration
- Coordinate human resources processes including recruitment and onboarding
- Maintain the LGL database to ensure accurate donor and stakeholder records
- Partner with the Executive Director to organize and advance fundraising campaigns
- Draft high-quality donor communications, proposals, and engagement strategies
- Provide administrative support to the Board of Directors, including meeting logistics and minutes
- Facilitate Board development, onboarding, and orientation programs
- Foster an inclusive, mission-driven staff culture rooted in Jewish values
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
- At least five years of work experience in a mission-driven environment (higher education, nonprofit, or Jewish communal life)
- Strong foundation in administrative and operational roles
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM systems, and data management tools
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Proven project management and problem-solving abilities
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced degree
- Knowledge of current trends in nonprofit philanthropy and higher education

- Salary range of $70,000 - $80,000
