Executive Managing Director - Automotive Manufacturing

Responsibilities

• Set the strategic direction for the business and develop the annual operating plan in partnership with ownership
• Own the full P&L, including revenue, cost structure, margin, working capital, and cash flow
• Drive operational excellence, focusing on quality, throughput, on-time delivery, and cost per unit
• Lead and develop a senior leadership team across operations, finance, and commercial functions
• Serve as the senior commercial face of the business with key automotive customers and lead contract negotiations
• Identify and pursue growth opportunities, including new customer acquisition and market expansion
• Maintain high standards for health, safety, and continuous improvement initiatives on the production floor

Requirements

• Demonstrated senior leadership experience (CEO, MD, GM, or equivalent) with full P&L accountability
• Proven track record of improving operating and financial performance within a manufacturing environment
• Deep expertise in the automotive sector or Tier-1/Tier-2 supply chain
• Strong financial literacy and the ability to make sound capital allocation decisions
• Hands-on, execution-oriented leadership style with strong commercial instincts
• Excellent communication skills to interface effectively with a private ownership group
