Executive Manager - AI Cybersecurity Assurance

Responsibilities

• Establish, maintain, and oversee the AI cybersecurity assurance framework to align AI/ML models with risk appetite and regulatory mandates
• Lead formal security audits, assessments, and compliance reviews of AI systems, data pipelines, and third-party integrations
• Identify, evaluate, and document cybersecurity risks inherent in AI technologies and drive remediation strategies
• Act as the primary liaison for internal audit, risk committees, senior executives, and external regulatory bodies
• Monitor and report on the organization's AI security posture, ensuring vulnerabilities and compliance gaps are resolved
• Mentor and coach future leaders, fostering a culture of curiosity, reflection, and continuous learning
• Align strategy with execution to ensure delivery excellence and drive accountability across cross-functional teams

Requirements

• 8+ years in cybersecurity governance, risk, or compliance (GRC) with a focus on emerging technologies
• Extensive experience operating within tier-1 or tier-2 financial institutions
• Proven track record in a senior client-facing consulting or professional services role
• Direct experience leading or defending large-scale technology audits and regulatory reviews
• Deep understanding of AI governance frameworks, ethical AI principles, and emerging global regulations
• Expert knowledge of financial services cybersecurity regulations and data privacy standards
• Ability to articulate complex technical risk and compliance concepts to board-level executives

Preferred Qualifications

• Relevant designations such as CISA, CRISC, CGEIT, CISSP, or specialized AI governance credentials
• Conceptual understanding of MLOps, cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure), and data lifecycle management
• Practical experience applying NIST, ISO 27001, or COBIT frameworks to AI systems
