About the Company

Beacon Software is a software holding company with the mission to buy, build, grow, and hold great vertical market software businesses. Founded by entrepreneurs Nilam Ganenthiran and Divya Gupta, Beacon focuses on long-term growth and investing in the continuity of great software companies.

Responsibilities

• Participate in a 6-month residency at Beacon HQ as a Chief of Staff in the portfolio operations team
• Undergo intensive training in pricing strategy, go-to-market (GTM), customer onboarding, and product management
• Complete an 18–24 month placement at a portfolio company in a scoped operational leadership role
• Drive growth projects, improve processes, and lead specific business functions
• Transition into General Manager roles within the portfolio starting in year three

Requirements

• 3–6 years of professional experience in operating roles (e.g., BizOps, Operations, RevOps, Product Ops, Product Management, or FP&A)
• Strong academic foundation and track record of high performance
• Demonstrated commercial acumen and problem-solving skills
• High ownership mindset and ability to work in ambiguous environments
• Willingness to relocate to San Francisco for residency and subsequently to a portfolio company location in North America

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA degree (or equivalent) in progress or recently completed
• Experience in software/SaaS companies or small-to-medium business operations
• Exposure to revenue growth and operational scaling challenges
