About the role
Responsibilities
- Ensure cleanliness standards for guestrooms, meeting areas, and public spaces through staff supervision and training
- Manage operating supplies, inventory par levels, and departmental expenses
- Monitor guest service scores and implement plans to maintain brand averages and TripleAAA 4 Diamond ratings
- Plan and monitor staff workloads to ensure compliance with maintenance standards
- Interview, hire, train, and develop housekeeping staff while managing performance appraisals
- Coordinate with other hotel departments to facilitate guest satisfaction and operational efficiency
- Act as Manager on Duty as scheduled
Requirements
- 3+ years of management experience, including at least 3 years in housekeeping management
- Experience managing in-house housekeeping operations
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Ability to stand for 75% or more of the shift and perform some lifting
- Proficiency in English, both written and verbal
- Knowledge of OSHA requirements and safety certifications
Preferred Qualifications
- IHG experience
- Familiarity with TripleAAA 4 Diamond criteria
