Executive Housekeeper

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily housekeeping operations and laundry functions to ensure high cleanliness and hygiene standards
• Inspect housekeeping areas, public spaces, and laundry facilities to maintain a safe and clean workplace
• Monitor stateroom and crew area maintenance to drive guest satisfaction and meet KPI goals
• Provide leadership to a multi-cultural team, including performance reviews, training, and succession planning
• Manage service flow during embarkation, disembarkation, and various shipboard activities
• Ensure compliance with all Public Health Policies and Viking’s STAR Service Standards

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as an Executive Housekeeper in a 5-star hospitality environment
• Experience in ship operations managing 500+ staterooms
• Proven experience leading and managing multi-cultural teams
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and mobile devices
• U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident (Green Card)
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and be fully vaccinated against required diseases
• Physical ability to meet the demands of an intense shipboard role, including standing and lifting for long periods
