Executive Functioning Coach

Responsibilities

• Maintain a caseload of up to 15 neurodivergent students, meeting 1:1 approximately twice per week for executive functioning training and academic coaching.
• Provide weekly seminar instruction and workshops focused on study skills, executive functioning strategies, and independent living skills.
• Offer drop-in executive functioning coaching on a rotating basis.
• Communicate with students' faculty, campus support offices, and families as necessary to support student success.
• Collaborate with the Office of Disability Services to ensure students are properly registered for academic accommodations.
• Support and collaborate with Graduate Assistants providing similar student supports.
• Represent the On Your Marq program at University Admissions events, information sessions, and resource fairs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in education, psychology, social work, or a related field.
• Minimum of 1 year of professional experience.
• Proven experience in case management or providing executive functioning support.
• Strong listening, problem-solving, and information-gathering skills.
• Ability to function independently and demonstrate compassion for neurodiverse young adults and their families.
• Excellent time management and detail-oriented approach.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in education, psychology, social work, or a related field.
• 1-2 years of experience specifically working with neurodiverse adolescents and/or adults.
• Experience supporting individuals who may experience behavioral dysregulation or co-occurring mental health concerns.
• Basic understanding of the college academic accommodation process.
