Executive Director/Administrator

Responsibilities

• Oversee overall direction of hospice services
• Manage operational planning and budgeting
• Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and accreditation requirements
• Monitor business operations for financial stability
• Evaluate hospice services and personnel using measurable outcomes
• Manage conflict and complaint resolution
• Maintain effective communication channels and technology integration
• Oversee staff development, orientation, and competency testing
• Direct staff in admission, discharge, transfer, and revocation processes
• Monitor service utilization and operational progress toward strategic goals
• Ensure adequate space, equipment, and supplies are available

Requirements

• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
• 2 to 5 years of experience in healthcare management
• Ability to supervise professional and administrative personnel
• Knowledge of corporate business management
• Understanding of hospice care and interdisciplinary group services
• Intimate knowledge of Medicare Hospice Certification
