Executive Director, Production & Account Management

Responsibilities

• Lead post-sale account management and the activation of campaigns across branded content, experiential, social, and events.
• Serve as the senior client relationship lead, acting as the primary point of accountability from contract signature through campaign wrap.
• Quarterback cross-functional teams including Editorial, Sales, Marketing, Creative, and Production to align priorities.
• Manage and develop an account team, setting clear expectations and coaching for professional growth.
• Partner with Sales to oversee program financials, including SOW adherence, scope management, and margin protection.
• Identify organic growth and upsell opportunities within existing accounts to drive YoY renewals.

Requirements

• 12+ years of account management experience, ideally at a top-tier publisher or creative/integrated agency.
• Proven experience managing teams of 5+ and developing talent at multiple levels.
• Fluency across editorial, branded content, social, experiential, and media activations.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a strong executive presence.
• Ability to operate effectively in a matrixed environment, balancing editorial integrity with commercial objectives.
