Executive Director, Portfolio Strategy & Analytics

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a Portfolio Strategy & Analytics (PS&A) team supporting assets across the enterprise portfolio
• Recruit, develop, and retain high-performing talent while building strong analytical and partnership capabilities
• Guide leaders and teams in framing options, risks, trade-offs, and decision points aligned with enterprise strategy
• Ensure consistent, high-quality analytics, planning, and decision support for Asset Teams and Development & Evidence Teams
• Partner with the Team System Office and Global Project Management to align portfolio processes and team deliverables
• Own the development and roll-out of enterprise PS&A processes, including lifecycle planning and options evaluation
• Act as a senior thought partner to cross-functional leaders on portfolio and asset-level decisions

Requirements

• MA/MS/MBA or PhD with 14+ years of relevant experience in life sciences, or BA/BS with 16+ years of relevant experience
• 5+ years of strategic portfolio analysis and insights experience
• Deep expertise in biopharma portfolio strategy
• Extensive experience leading complex, cross-functional, and enterprise-level initiatives
• Proven track record of delivering analyses that inform portfolio-wide and asset-level decisions
• Demonstrated ability to influence senior leaders and manage change within complex organizations
