About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead payments foreign exchange operations during European working hours to ensure accurate and controlled processing.
- Own senior escalation management, including investigation, prioritization, and end-to-end resolution of incidents.
- Drive operational excellence through governance, runbooks, and disciplined control execution.
- Build trusted relationships with stakeholders across Asia and Europe, including Product, Technology, and Front Office teams.
- Lead operational readiness for major change initiatives, such as same-day currency settlement and currency migrations.
- Govern application access as an Information Owner, ensuring alignment with least-privilege principles and access controls.
Requirements
- 15 years of experience in payments operations and/or foreign exchange operations.
- 15 years of experience leading time-critical escalations and cross-functional incident resolution.
- Demonstrated expertise in executing operational risk and control practices.
- Proven experience delivering operational change initiatives, such as process transformations or migrations.
- Ability to partner effectively with stakeholders across multiple time zones (Asia and Europe).
- Experience with application access governance, including provisioning and periodic access reviews.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting same-day currency settlement or similar settlement model enhancements.
- Track record leading currency migration or insourcing initiatives, including cutover planning.
- Familiarity with audit practices and control testing within an operations environment.
- Experience driving process simplification and automation opportunities in a control-focused setting.
