About the role
Responsibilities
- Establish and lead the Division of Health Professions Education, including defining its mission, staffing model, and governance.
- Develop and implement shared administrative and operational infrastructure to support professional programs.
- Lead strategic planning, program review cycles, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Drive the development and expansion of academic programs through feasibility analysis and business case development.
- Manage financial models, enrollment forecasting, and budget reallocations in partnership with finance teams.
- Oversee staff performance, professional development, and workforce planning.
- Cultivate strategic partnerships with industry and health system partners to ensure long-term program sustainability.
Requirements
- 10 years of progressively responsible leadership experience in academic health sciences or higher education administration.
- Bachelor's degree required (or equivalent in education and experience).
- Demonstrated experience in academic program development and implementation.
- Strong financial fluency, including budget modeling and enrollment forecasting.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, and Visio).
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to interact with academic leadership.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree or terminal degree.
- Experience working within an academic medical center or research-intensive institution.
- Familiarity with accreditation and compliance environments relevant to graduate and health professions programs.
