Executive Director, Global Marketing – HIV & Emerging Viruses

Responsibilities

• Shape and execute the global commercial strategy for HIV and emerging virus therapies to drive long-term portfolio growth.
• Partner with R&D leadership to define global HIV strategies and identify unmet medical needs through market research and competitive intelligence.
• Serve as the commercial lead on cross-functional development teams to influence clinical strategy, target indications, and product profiles.
• Lead global product strategy, including positioning, branding, messaging, and value propositions to ensure successful pricing and reimbursement.
• Drive global launch excellence and oversee post-approval lifecycle management and portfolio optimization.
• Lead matrixed, pan-regional teams across Commercial, R&D, Medical Affairs, Regulatory, and Government Affairs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with 16+ years of relevant experience, OR
• Master's degree with 14+ years of relevant experience, OR
• PhD with 14+ years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced degree such as an MBA, PhD, PharmD, or MD.
• Significant expertise in global pharmaceutical marketing and strategy.
• Proven expertise in the HIV therapeutic area.
• Strong track record in new product planning, portfolio strategy, and lifecycle management.
• Demonstrated ability to lead complex, global, matrixed teams and influence senior stakeholders.
• Experience leveraging market research and forecasting to drive strategic decision-making.
