About the role
Responsibilities
- Partner with Equity Finance sales teams to review client portfolios, assess margin requirements, and manage exposures.
- Provide real-time risk commentary and escalation regarding market events, client behavior, and portfolio shifts.
- Monitor client portfolios for margin adequacy, concentration risk, stress scenarios, and liquidity risk.
- Act as the primary risk liaison for client onboarding, due diligence, and articulating margin methodologies to external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with Credit Risk, Market Risk, Legal, and Compliance to ensure a comprehensive view of client risk and operational readiness.
- Deliver in-depth risk analysis for new products, including risk identification, sizing, and stress testing.
- Lead complex initiatives within Securities Product Management to drive strategic resolution and business solutions.
Requirements
- 7+ years of Securities Product Management experience or equivalent demonstrated expertise.
- Strong understanding of Equity swaps, SIMM, ISDA, hedge fund strategies, and derivatives.
- Proficiency in risk analytics including VaR, PFE, stress testing, and scenario analysis.
- Advanced Excel data analysis skills.
- Familiarity with Python or SQL and various risk platforms.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or Mathematics.
- Product expertise in the financing and structuring of hedge fund strategies.
- Proven ability to build trusted partnerships with front office stakeholders while maintaining disciplined risk management.
