About the role
Responsibilities
- Serve as the General Manager and own the complete Profit and Loss (P&L) for the entire state
- Drive medical cost management, revenue optimization, and opex management
- Lead, mentor, and develop market leadership and care team members
- Manage and optimize state key performance indicators (KPIs) including utilization and HEDIS metrics
- Build relationships with local healthcare providers, community partners, and health plan clients
- Lead the execution and launch of new clinic locations within the state
Requirements
- 7-10+ years of experience in healthcare leadership roles
- Experience leading in a clinical-operational dyad model
- Proven track record of managing a large P&L in a value-based care or capitated environment
- Deep understanding of Medicaid and the behavioral health ecosystem (SMI/SUD)
- Ability to travel regularly across the state
- Passion for serving individuals living with serious mental illness (SMI)
