About the role

Responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day operations with full P&L responsibility
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
  • Create a safe environment for residents, families, and team members
  • Develop strategies for labor, occupancy, revenue, and expense control
  • Partner with the Director of Sales on marketing and outreach strategies
  • Coordinate with department directors (Health and Wellness, Memory Care, Life Enrichment, Culinary, Maintenance) to ensure high-quality service
  • Manage recruiting, hiring, training, and performance reviews for team members
  • Oversee annual operating budgets and capital requirements
  • Implement a 'Manager On Duty' system to ensure leadership presence 7 days a week

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, healthcare administration, or a related subject
  • Required certification for Residential Care Facilities based on state regulations
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in operations management
  • Proven success in meeting financial and sales goals
  • Understanding of local, state, and federal regulations for senior living
  • Experience in recruiting, onboarding, and training team members
  • Ability to work varied schedules including weekends, evenings, and holidays
  • Acceptable driving record
