Executive Director, DMPK

Responsibilities

• Develop vision and scientific strategy for Biotherapeutics DMPK-BA teams across Boston and Seattle sites
• Execute DMPK-BA strategies from discovery through clinical development, including PK, ADME, and bioanalytical assays
• Integrate PK, bioanalysis, and translational PKPD data into cross-functional program decision-making
• Provide scientific and managerial leadership to prioritize key deliverables and mentor emerging talent
• Ensure regulatory compliance in all necessary DMPK documents, including INDs and marketing applications
• Build collaborative partnerships with Biology, Preclinical Safety, Clinical Pharmacology, and CMC disciplines
• Implement innovative technologies to enhance scientific impact and operational efficiencies

Requirements

• PhD in Pharmacokinetics, Biochemistry, Biology, or a related field
• 15+ years of industry experience with significant experience at the management level
• Extensive expertise in biotherapeutic modalities such as proteins, antibodies, and cell/gene therapies
• Proven track record of managing DMPK-BA teams across multiple therapeutic areas
• Deep scientific knowledge in PK, ADME, bioanalysis, immunogenicity, and translational PKPD modeling
• Experience preparing regulatory submissions and interacting with health authorities
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and governance bodies
