Executive Director, Clinical Business Operations

Responsibilities

• Drive operational strategy, organizational effectiveness, and portfolio governance across Clinical Operations
• Partner with leadership to translate corporate objectives into actionable execution plans
• Establish and oversee governance frameworks supporting clinical operations portfolio execution
• Define enterprise-level KPIs and performance measurement frameworks
• Oversee organizational capacity planning and workforce strategy
• Lead highly visible cross-functional initiatives involving Clinical Development and Quality Assurance
• Build and mentor a high-performing Clinical Business Operations organization

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in science/healthcare field, nursing degree, or equivalent
• Minimum of 15+ years of biotechnology, pharmaceutical, CRO, or healthcare industry experience
• Significant leadership experience in Clinical Operations, Clinical Development, or Business Operations
• Demonstrated experience in organizational planning, governance frameworks, and executive reporting
• Proven ability to influence executive stakeholders and drive organizational change
• Advanced financial, resource planning, and business management acumen
• In-depth knowledge of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and ICH guidelines
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience leading Clinical Operations Business Operations, Portfolio Management, or PMO functions
• Proven track record of building strong relationships with external partners and CROs
