Executive Director - Clients & Growth

Responsibilities

• Lead senior client engagement across priority accounts, ensuring proactive engagement plans and executive-level connectivity.
• Act as an executive sponsor for key clients to support long-term relationship development and account growth.
• Translate regional and global strategic priorities into actionable growth strategies and measurable business outcomes.
• Identify emerging market trends and client needs to strengthen WSP’s market position in the Middle East.
• Partner with technical and project leaders to ensure client commitments are supported by robust delivery and commercial discipline.
• Drive sustainable revenue growth and profitable business performance through disciplined opportunity management.
• Provide inspirational leadership to multidisciplinary teams, fostering a high-performing, client-focused culture.

Requirements

• Degree in Business, Engineering, Architecture, Planning, Marketing, or a related discipline.
• 15+ years of senior leadership experience in client engagement, business development, or commercial leadership.
• Proven experience operating at an Executive Director or regional leadership level within a complex global organization.
• Deep understanding of the Middle East market, including major public/private sector clients and procurement models.
• Strong track record of delivering sustainable revenue growth and managing high-value strategic pursuits.
• Excellent negotiation, influencing, and stakeholder management skills at the C-suite and government levels.
• Strong commercial acumen with experience contributing to P&L outcomes and business planning.

Preferred Qualifications

• Postgraduate qualification, such as an MBA or equivalent.
• Experience supporting Executive Committee or Board-level reporting and strategic reviews.
