Executive Director/CEO

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Board of Directors to set strategic direction and ensure measurable execution
• Serve as the primary operating partner to the Board to facilitate effective governance
• Maintain ultimate accountability for the organization's financial health, planning, and sustainability
• Act as the chief fundraiser, leading a diversified revenue strategy and donor cultivation
• Ensure all programs are high-quality, mission-aligned, trauma-informed, and evaluated for impact
• Build and maintain a healthy, accountable, and mission-focused organizational culture
• Serve as the public face and chief relationship builder for the organization
• Oversee organizational compliance, ethical conduct, and risk management

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in nonprofit management, business, public administration, social work, or a related field
• 7–10 years of progressive leadership experience, preferably in nonprofit or human services
• Deep expertise in child advocacy and trauma-informed care
• Demonstrated experience managing budgets, financial reporting, and grants
• Proven fundraising and donor cultivation skills
• Must be a US Citizen

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in a relevant field such as Business, Public Administration, or Social Work
• Experience working with a nonprofit Board of Directors
• Familiarity with government funding, reimbursement models, and grant compliance
• Established professional relationships in Pasco County or the Tampa Bay region
• Experience leading organizations through financial stabilization or operational growth
