About the role

Responsibilities

  • Work with divisional and WP&A leadership to develop and present content on wealth management topics
  • Serve as a resource for tax, trust & estate planning, and concentrated position management
  • Partner with field leadership to integrate estate and tax planning into goals-based advice
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of federal and state tax laws
  • Promote J.P. Morgan’s expertise to outside centers of influence like accountants and attorneys
  • Provide customized wealth planning advice to clients and prospective clients
  • Travel to local and out of state branches as needed

Requirements

  • 4-year college degree and either J.D., LLM, or CPA
  • 7+ years of practice as a trusts & estates or tax lawyer or CPA
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to drive business results and coach colleagues/advisors
  • High ethical standards and integrity

Preferred Qualifications

  • Series 7 & 66 licenses (can be obtained within 6 months)
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
