About the role
Responsibilities
- Work with divisional leadership to develop and present content across wealth management topics
- Serve as a resource for tax, trust, and estate planning strategies, concentrated position management, and pre-liquidity planning
- Partner with field leadership to integrate estate and tax planning into goals-based advice
- Provide unbiased, customized wealth planning advice to clients and prospective clients
- Promote J.P. Morgan’s expertise to outside centers of influence, such as accountants and attorneys
- Travel to local and out of state branches as needed
Requirements
- 4-year college degree and either J.D., LLM, or CPA
- 7+ years of practice as a trusts & estates or tax lawyer or CPA
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Ability to drive business results and coach colleagues and Financial Advisors
- High ethical standards and integrity
Preferred Qualifications
- Series 7 & 66 licenses (can be fulfilled within 6 months)
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
- Experience with concentrated stock management and corporate executive issues
