Executive DHS IT Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate the DHS portfolio of IT initiatives, systems modernization, and application enhancements
• Serve as the primary strategic liaison between DHS and ITS leadership, development teams, and external vendors
• Lead the evaluation of program-related IT requests, assessing feasibility, cost-benefit, and policy alignment
• Develop strategic technology roadmaps and operational planning documents for major IT initiatives
• Provide operational oversight for technology platforms including Aircall, Kintone, and Form Assembly
• Create custom ERP reports, operational dashboards, and analytical reporting solutions
• Prepare communications and guidance materials on IT initiatives for DHS leadership and non-technical stakeholders

Requirements

• Must be permanent in the Computer Systems Manager civil service title or eligible for 6.1.9 title change
• Master's degree in Computer Science plus 3 years of IT experience (including 18 months in a managerial capacity)
• OR Baccalaureate degree plus 4 years of IT experience (including 18 months in a managerial capacity)
• OR High school diploma plus 6 years of IT experience (including 18 months in a managerial capacity)
• Proven experience in applications development, systems development, or database administration
