Executive Development Director

Responsibilities

• Define and refine Micron's executive development strategy, integrating it with leadership continuity and performance evaluation.
• Partner with senior leaders and HR Business Partners to implement individualized development plans based on capability gaps and succession readiness.
• Set standards for development rigor, focusing on experience-based actions and measurable outcomes.
• Govern executive coaching engagements, including vendor management and coach selection.
• Manage partnerships with top-tier universities and professional development programs.
• Collaborate across the People organization to ensure scalable and consistent development solutions.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in executive development, leadership development, talent management, or organizational efficiency.
• Proven success in crafting development strategies for senior leaders and high-potential pipelines.
• Experience selecting and managing executive coaches, assessment vendors, and executive education partners.
• Strong executive presence and consulting skills with the ability to translate organizational needs into actionable plans.
• Ability to navigate and influence within a sophisticated global matrix organization.

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced degree in Organizational Psychology, HR, OD, Business, or a related field.
• Coaching credentials and experience with executive assessment and 360 feedback processes.
• Experience integrating development planning into enterprise talent systems and succession cycles.
