About the role

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the day-to-day operational needs of the office and analyze administrative processes for improvement
  • Maintain complex calendars for senior leadership, proactively identifying and establishing needs
  • Support senior-level committees through agenda preparation, minute taking, and following up on actionable items
  • Draft correspondence, collate information for reports, and act as an administrative liaison for routine and sensitive matters
  • Direct the activities of a single ongoing staff-appointed employee

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or an acceptable combination of equivalent experience
  • Minimum of five years of senior administrative experience, preferably in a university or hospital environment
  • Demonstrated experience managing complex calendaring and preparing written materials for senior leaders
  • Proven experience supporting senior committees, including proficiency in minute taking and agenda preparation
  • Advanced proficiency with MS Office Suite, databases, and presentation software
  • Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to summarize complex information
  • Ability to exercise discretion, maintain strict confidentiality, and handle sensitive matters
  • Exceptional organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills
